2002 Box Left Uncovered!!
Today I found box #3 of the Putnam Memorial Park boxes in Redding, Connecticut uncovered with the two large rocks that should have been on top of it lying on the ground down below it. That box has been there since 2002 and could have gone missing because of that stupid Brownie Troop that found it in October. It's a large container and is visible from quite a distance, even if it is on the back side of a wall.
May the Letterboxing Goddess save us from brownie troops, girl scout troops and their so called "leaders". Find another hobby.

My grandson's Cub Scout leader asked me to work with his den on letterboxing, I have politely declined for this exact reason.
Good for you!
Could not agree more! Also, the herd of them usually fingerprint up all the pages of the logbook.

And a few days later, along with some other boxers, we found #3 in that same older series also totally uncovered. And yes, they always use up pages and pages of a sometimes small logbook. And plant boxes that wind up abandoned trash.
